Royal Pursuit

As if the anguish of her soul
Was writ into the skies,
The moment Elsa fled her home
A chill began to rise.
Though summer was well underway
With nights both clear and warm,
A falling snowflake would portend
A sudden wintry storm.

Behind the wake that Elsa made
Due to her sudden flight
Poor Anna ran in close pursuit
And saw her people's plight.
They huddled, bodies shivering
With mingled cold and fear,
And in eternal winter hoped
Their savior might appear.

All eyes were turned to Anna, next
In line to hold the throne,
All power and authority
Were in her hands alone.
Of this she was not unaware,
But in her heart she knew
That she was part responsible
For all that did ensue.

Forgotten was her anger, and
Cast off was all her rage,
She only wanted her and Elsa
To be on the same page.
She called her horse and saddled up,
Still in her finest dress.
Without provisions, with great haste,
She plunged to solve this mess.

And as she galloped out the gates
That Elsa wanted sealed,
She left her kingdom there to Hans,
Her power his to yield.

Oh, Princess dear! Oh, noble steed! Now run!
The freeze of Arendelle has now begun.
Actually wrote parts 8 and 9 a long time ago, and I'm uploading them now. Enjoy!
